These individuals have endured immense hardship and peril, often fleeing their home countries through hazardous paths to find safety. The ongoing conflict in Sudan has left many traumatized. In response, we focus on providing crucial support, guiding community members on how to access mental health services effectively. Our aim is to ensure that everyone receives the care and assistance they need to heal and rebuild their lives

At EHAL, we proudly serve a substantial community of members with Eastern Sudanese backgrounds who have recently made the United Kingdom their home. Recognizing the significant language barriers they encounter, we are committed to facilitating their integration and communication in English-speaking environments. To address these challenges, we offer online English classes for adults, along with workshops designed to enhance their English language proficiency. Our initiatives are tailored to empower our members, helping them navigate their new surroundings with confidence and ease.

In line with this belief, we host weekly football events for adults every Saturday.
